The Quality Assurance department consists of technical professionals who use modern analytical equipment to test and certify that the steel is of the exact quality and grade desired by our customers. The Quality Assurance facilities consist of:
A Chemical Lab at the Melt Shop, performing spectro-chemical and combustion analysis
A Billet Lab at the Continuous Caster, performing internal and external evaluation of cast billets.
A Mechanical Testing Lab at the Rolling Mill, performing tensile, bend, hardness impact testing.
